There honestly wasn't a single, memorable moment in this game until Elliott Fry hit a 55-yard field goal (with a handful of yards to spare) with 35 seconds left to give South Carolina a 13-10 victory.
The Gamecocks were shut out in the first half, but the visitors' defense ended up being even better, holding the Commodores scoreless over the final three quarters and to just 242 total yards to win the season opener.
Fry also nailed a 48-yarder to put Carolina on the scoreboard in the third quarter, then capped a seven-play drive with his game-winner.
